Shopping is difficult for most brain injury survivors.  Making a trip to the grocery store even harder for her is the environmental distractions, such as florescent lights or the crush of too many customers.  At such times she will have a grocery cart full of things without any idea what she had selected. On other occasions, she has gotten home with hundreds of dollars of merchandise she didn’t need.
