A worker was killed in an oil-field accident a week ago in North Dakota, according to the Deseret News.
 
 
Jason McDonald, a 22-year-old from Vernal, Utah, fell some 80 feet off a derrick in Stanley, N.D., and died, the Mountrail County Sheriff’s Department said. McDonald hit the floor of a drilling rig, according to the Deseret News.
 
Emergency medical workers responded to Frontier Drilling Rig. No. 19, and transported McDonald to Mountrail County Medical Center by ambulance. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
 
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is probing the accident, the Deseret News reported.
