The Brain Injury Law Group was founded by Attorney Gordon S. Johnson, Jr., with the objective of assuring that our mission of education and advocacy for persons with brain injury reaches people throughout the country. We believe that the representation of those with a brain injury requires specialized background and training. Towards that goal, we have sponsored several brain injury related web pages: http://tbilaw.com and its companion site: http://waiting.com. We are active with respect to education and teaching about brain injury issues and are available to speak to brain injury groups on a number of topics.
Mr. Johnson's advocacy is not limited to legal representation of the brain injured, but also includes a daily commitment to education and advocacy. In addition, The Brain Injury Law Office sponsors waiting.com, The Coma Waiting Page, a web page dedicated to disseminating information about brain injury, to the family members of someone who is in a coma. Mr. Johnson also owns and moderates an email advocacy lists for brain injury, including the tbi-attorney list, an information exchange for attorneys who represent those with brain injury Mr. Johnson is a member of the Brain Injury Association of Wisconsin and the national BIA. His service for the BIA-WI has included serving two terms on its board of directors and editing the associations newsletter. Mr. Johnson has been appointed by Wisconsin's governor to the state sub-agency, the TBI-Advisory Board. Mr. Johnson is also on the executive board of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Litigation Group for TBI. He is a graduate of Northwestern University, BS-Journalism and a 1979 graduate cum laude of the University of Wisconsin Law School. The Brain Injury Law Group is involved with a network of plaintiff's trial lawyers across the United States united by a common interest in serving the rights of persons with traumatic brain injuries and a common commitment to fully understanding the anatomic, medical and psychological aspects of TBI, so we may be of better service to the survivors of brain injury. This network of lawyers are not part of a national law firm. We have separate law practices and are licensed to practice only in our home states. The Brain Injury Law Group is here to listen and for that reason we maintain an 800 number and a staff willing to discuss your case and legal information where appropriate. There is no charge to call. We only represent people on a contingent fee basis and charge a fee only when we recover for the client. For more on Attorney Gordon Johnson, click here. |
