Wisconsin Brain Injury Support
Key to addressing so many issues in the long term recovery after brain injury, for both the survivor and his or her loved ones, is attendance at brain injury support groups. Wisconsin has long had a tradition with support groups. Even though the state brain injury organization is undergoing change, the Wisconsin brain injury support groups continue to be viable.
I personally spoke to about half of these Wisconsin Brain Injury support groups since I began the TBI Voices project and it is these support groups that provided the volunteers that make up the core of those stories.
