Stress can be extremely attentionally taxing and Angela’s memory problems increase whenever she is under stress.  She would think things were under control, until the stress kicked. Stress would almost paralyze her brain, even though she knew that she should know what to do.  With time she has learned to force herself to pay attention, depending on the environment is controlled.  In restaurants, in any place there is more than one conversation or distractions, she can’t keep up with the pace of information.
