This was a rather foolish move on Lady Gaga’s part.

The superstar, known for her outlandish outfits, apparently sustained a concussion while performing a concert in New Zealand. And she went on with the show anyway, according to the Associated Press.

Apparently Lady Gaga was onstage in Auckland, New Zealand, on Sunday when one of her backup crew accidentally hit her in the head  with a pole, a prop, during the show, AP reported.

There is a video clip of Lady Gaga , who was holding a fake machine gun, unbalanced and briefly walking offstage.  But then she came back and finished the concert.

Lady Gaga may want to be loyal and not let down her fans, her  “little monsters,” as she affectionately calls them. But for her own,  or anyone’s health, it’s foolish to not take a break and rest after suffering a possible concussion.

I hope she at last got a medical exam after the show to confirm if she in fact did have a concussion, and that she takes steps to address it if she did have one.
