Elizabeth Part 7 – Challenges of Running a Home After TBI

Elizabeth’s discusses the challenges her brain injury poses to her responsibilities at home. These include taking longer to do certain tasks, making accommodations for doing the laundry to avoid going up and down stairs, difficulty with organization and finding items, needing assistance with tasks requiring lifting, and numerous hardships related to grocery shopping, including impulsivity and poor decision-making.
